our dinner candles are made from english beeswax in a small workshop in cumbria, where the traditional hand-dipping technique has been used for over 40 years. the age-old process involves repeatedly dipping wicks – hung from a frame – into molten wax, gradually building up each candle with time for each layer to cool before applying the next. subtly honey-scented with a natural hue, burning with a cleaner flame than non-beeswax candles. set of two joined at the wick, in a recycled brown paper box. details beeswax.made in the united kingdom.burn time: 8 hours.h 20 x 2.3cm at base.
